The Happy Couple
Back blipped as it was late when we were away from the reception ...
Our nephew, Andrew, married Hazel yesterday in a really quite touching ceremony. They each have children from previous relationships so Andrew's son Archie (9) was their ring bearer, and Ryan (11) gave his mum away. This is immediately after the ceremony, walking between the guests who have been provided with cones of confetti. A brilliant day, Gill and I were on the aunties & uncles responsible adults table, although the behaviour in the photo booth after the meal does not quite reflect that ... see extra.
Their professional photographer had a long day - but judging by the slide show he had running a very successful one. I didn't see the point in duplicating anything he might have shot so I stuck to catching the scene when I could.
As you can see, Andrew is a serving soldier, their photographer is an ex-soldier, no-one could accuse them of failing to plan :-) The was around 45 minutes of good daylight to work with and he had the formal group shots running like clockwork. Followed by some of just the two of them in the garden floodlights.
Thanks to everyone who commented on Friday's autumn arboretum shot - by the time I was back it was a case of uploading a blip and then getting the wedding smart clothes put ready for the car, and not mixed up with my outdoor things for next week at LPH.
