Taking Shelter...

....and I don't blame him/her !  Sheltering under the Astrantia.
We are awash/saturated. Continuous rain - 80mm (in the old scale 3.2 inches).  Lots of flooding, surface water around here and snow just a little bit inland around Fairlie and Lake Tekapo.  But on our West Coast the rain has been even more excessive sadly causing a death, many roads closed, bridges washed away and farmlands flooded.  This evening there are signs of clearing thankfully.

I've had a particularly social day - out with the ladies this morning, then meeting friends in Timaru for lunch.  Squeezed in some retail therapy, bought a dress !!
