Katie's been up a while. Quite a while. Although not as long as mummy on this occasion. She'd eaten freshly cooked pasta by 5am, if that gives you a clue as to how early. She took herself to get dressed about 6, put one outfit on and then changed her mind and asked to wear what she's got on now. But first all it's labels had to be cut out. She wont have care labels in her clothes. She's also getting funny about the buttons on her adjustable trousers, which may be an issue as she can only wear jeans if they have adjustable waists. Mind you, it would give Grandad all the excuse needed to buy her braces - something he's rather keen to do.

In other news, today is Brooke's birthday - one of Katie's dearest friends. So Happy Birthday Brookey. Her party is on Saturday so her present is waiting til then but Katie is taking her a special rosette badge and a drawing that she's done and wrapped (in newspaper, no less) and is quite excited about spending Brooke's birthday with her
