Home Again

Still tired when I got up but probably not as tired as Clare Who was up at 4:30am for a long day shift.
I pottered about, cleaned up and then set off for a quick walk for a newspaper.
The quick walk turned into a walk from one end of the town to the other. I stopped along the way to look at all the symbols of Remembrance throughout the town.

A remarkable effort, all the large poppies bearing the names of all those from the town who lost their lives in WWI, the thousands of crocheted poppies decorating the trees in Kimberley Park, Trago Mills window display, the crosses, poppies and silhouettes in the Remembrance Garden.

I’ve been emotionally drained over the Remembrance period, time for some quiet time at home.
