A Paddling Of Ducks

I love animal group names.  This is one of many for ducks but I liked it best.  It sounds so much better than "a bunch of ducks".  

This is a male hooded merganser, looking pretty good, I'd say.  There were about eight of them out on the water this afternoon, males and females.  I put a group shot in Extras.  They're quick-moving creatures and they dive constantly so it's a challenge to get them while they're not busy looking for food.  I think they're so dramatic looking.
