A little night music

The Chapel, Beaumont Estate.

Now attempting to be a swanky hotel, this used to be a school, run by The Jesuits. The Chapel, now decommissioned, was built in 1870, the current owners have removed a suspended ceiling and reinstated the title Chapel. We were here for long service awards with my firm. No longer in love with the job (or the firm) it was a slightly odd experience as most of the attendees feel the same as I do.

The highlight was an after midnight visit to The Chapel where Jacinta tested her new recorder - see yesterdays blip. The acoustics were fantastic!
