You saw it here first!

Today was destined to be a blip blank day until the above email arrived. I entered a few pictures in the Alpine Garden Society Photographic Competition and one of them turned out a winner. It was my blip from 29 June this year, taken in appalling weather, just twenty-four hours after I came eye-to-eye with Hilary and David, on a warm summer afternoon. At that stage I was still debating where to stay next in light of the grim weather forecast .... looks like I made the right decision.
