My new best friend

Wow. I've fallen hook line and sinker for puppy pete. In such a short space of time he's captured my heart! Love him.

I decided to sleep downstairs for his first night. Only because I was worried about the 'poo' situation and was hoping his tablets had kicked in.

He slept spot on til 2am and then he started crying. It woke me and I let him cry. Whimpering on for about 10 mins it went silent and then I chose to check on him.

He was fine, but as he now knew I was sleeping next door, he carried on crying til I let him in. He slept with me, like a babe til 6am.

Had a brill morning with him. Haven't stopped smiling since he arrived!! At lunch, mum came to babysit as I went into town to meet Cheryl and Anita, a long standing date booked way before I knew pete would be here.

We only meet up twice a year but its always fab. Lovely food and sparkly for Christmas. Li had taken over pup sitting duties and was enjoying her afternoon.

Back home and chilling with pete. He snores and sleeps his way through X factor as most of us do. The picture is one he took himself!! his paw flicked out and hit my phone!

I introduce him to foos on the iPad and tell him what a genius mr grohl is!

We're both whacked now. Need to leave him on his own tonight...
