. . . and it is still only November

There were plenty of shoppers at the Huge Christmas Market in the precincts of Winchester Cathedral. We were taken there on a coach trip run by thè WI. N came too, and together we enjoyed browsing the stalls and bought just one or two Christmas presents. N particularly liked the food stalls.
When we had had our fill of trade stalls we went into the cathedral and joined a tour with fascinating facts given by an enthusiastic historian. The extra shows the stalls in the shadow of the huge cathedral.
