Lunchtime Recital

There are no longer regular Friday lunchtime recitals at Heriot-Watt but today was an extra for Excelsior String Quartet, before two members (First violin Valerie Cronshaw and Cello Amy Chang) left for pastures new. Cameron Adamson played Second violin, with Steve King, Musician in Residence at the university on Viola played Haydn Opus 77 No 1.

The recital was held in the Chaplaincy, rather than the Students' Union; the attractive chapel has a ?steel cross flanked by two panels of patchwork depicting Christian symbols.
