Early Morning Awakening

A poppy bud about to open.

I noticed strange white spots on clumps of grass I’d just pulled out. A closer look revealed little lynx spider nests, with the mothers clinging on. (See extra shot). I rescued nine of them and distributed them around the garden. Not one abandoned her nest.
