This afternoon D and I went to Allanton Peace Sanctuary. Every year they put on a wonderful Christmas lunch for volunteers. I always feel that I've not volunteered enough to justify being there, so here I am trying to give the place a little publicity :-) You can look at the website using the link above and see everything that they do. It's great that we have people working so hard for peace, right here in our community.

The lunch was lovely and we had fun quizzes in-between courses. 

The huge lantern is one that Uma made for the Big Burns Supper lantern parade in Dumfries a few years back.
