A moment of brightness

The weather outside at the moment is vile but when we went down to Bingley this morning after a coffee at the Tittle Tattle Tea shop it was momentarily lovely and bright.
I thought how nice the Parish Church looked in the sun and decided to take this shot from a slightly different spot.

I hadn't noticed this grave stone before and I liked the shadow of the tree against the church wall. Not sure why the flag of St George is flying but it made a change from all the Saltires I've seen over the last week though it has become entangled in the tree.

Hope the weather improves, we are going to Saltaire Brewery tonight with fellow Community singers. A tour, a drink and a curry and maybe a bit of spontaneous singing.
