Carol of the Bells

Our choir (“Salford in Harmony”) completed the bill at the City of Salford Carol Concert at the RC Cathedral this evening.

Our choir is behind the Audacious Church choir here (well, quite a few of them, others arrived a bit later).

Amazingly, this was our fifth concert here. Phil, our “choirmaster”, had chosen four carols. The drum carol (well known), I saw three ships ( also well known), the little king ( very little known, a lovely carol), and carol of the bells. Leaving we talked to a lady who was born in the Ukraine, who had really enjoyed it. It turns out that she grew up with it - it is originally a Ukrainian carol.
