Ho, Ho, Ho
It’s Alan’s birthday today so as soon as the girls were up they brought his birthday presents into our bedroom, there was no chance he was having a lie in this morning!
Rach took Violet to ballet while Scarlett stayed with us and then once they were back, we all went to Tatton Park to see Father Christmas. The weather’s been awful though, icy wind and rain so we were freezing!
The girls’ had their faces painted, we saw Donner and Prancer the real reindeers and various other farm animals, but of course the highlight was seeing Santa, who told the girls that they were both on his ‘nice’ list. Before we left, the girls wished a happy Christmas which was really sweet.
Tatton Park has a lot of deer, and as we drove out we spotted a stag not too far away and luckily Alan was able to stop so I could take some photos from the car. He was a very handsome chap, with huge antlers, and on a different day he would have been my Blip, but today it had to be the Big Man’s turn.
We headed home for an hour and then went for a family meal to celebrate Alan’s birthday, and now we’re getting ready to drive home. We were originally going to stay tonight but the traffic will be much quieter tonight and then it gives us a day at home tomorrow.
Enjoy your evening and I’ll catch up later when it’s Alan’s turn to drive, unless I fall asleep - I’m doing the first stint. Bye for now!
