New Lights

With the chimneys now boarded up we decided we needed some supplementary heat in the kitchen so we now have an electric fire that looks like a coal stove.So far I am very impressed, no cleaning out or messing about lighting it and no dirty coal in the house.The future?Perhaps it is.While out at the shops Helen also replaced the old tree lights.

Most of the day written off because of the weather although I spent part of the morning sorting the builders out with the coping stones.They still haven't finished it because of the weather.One of them was daft enough to turn up in shorts.

An early night for me leaving Helen watching TV.We need a new TV but for the rubbish that is on it I am in two minds whether to replace it or not bother at all.

Very cold, gales and heavy rain.
