Network in air

Coming from Holland where all the networks are neatly layed down underground, I was highly surprised some 40 years ago when I found the electricity here runs in threads from house to house in the air... still everywhere this is paramount and the only way of bringing electricity to the homes, the offices, the factories, everywhere this network in air.

Did enjoy my walks of this afternoon along some old roads, not forgotten I used to pass by from them in old times.
