There's a man down

Sometimes there are things that just catch your eye - random, strange things but you are somehow drawn to them. This was a case in point with the abandoned doll. Discarded on the hall landing, limbs all over the place, she looked just like I felt - probably better in fact. Bed at 3am, woken with the sweet alarm call of two children at 7am, it's safe to say I've felt better.

Thankfully, again, Aunty Sandra rode in on her white horse and rescued me by taking the kids to Mill Farm for the day. They had a blast meeting Santa, feeding the animals and warming up in the soft play area. Two tired but happy children were returned to us and I'd made a winter warming casserole to say thank you.
