Mistakes

Busy day. Brief pause at lunch time for cheese and bread outside. The weather turned, but we were stubbornly British and stayed out as it wasn’t “proper rain”.

As some of the busy was work for Mr B, he volunteered to pick up TallGirl from another early finish at school. And to grab some lasagne from the freezer shop for dinner. Somehow they returned home with four lobsters, three bilberry pies, and two vegetarian lasagnes.... We ate the lasagne anyway (delicious - the kids are horrified that I may try to enforce a “two veggie meals a week” January. TallGirl is about to launch a campaign to have chorizo reclassified as a garnish, rather than a meat product.)

This afternoon some unpleasantness that we are all very much hoping turns out to be not as bad as it could be.
