Twinkle Twinkle

A bit of Christmas sparkle and hoping this finds you all well on this Christmas Eve.

Here it has been a bright day and much like yesterday we started the day with a very muddy dog walk.  After washing the dog Andy went to visit his Mum as we will be away tomorrow.  Her memory is now very poor but with some Christmas cards and messages in them Andy was able to generate a better than usual conversation.  I stayed at home and made leek and potato soup for our lunch.

This afternoon I have been working with Merlin to try to improve his walking to 'heel'.  I've been using a walking stick which I put just in front of him and a head collar lead.  His walking was much improved and we managed a circuit of the village without my arm feeling like it was being wrenched out of its socket!  Later it was time to listen to the service from Kings whilst I made rock cakes.
