Market forces
I've been fortunate in that over my now many years, I've had to spend relatively little time in hospitals. But when I have, I've always been surprised by the crap they have for sale in their vending machines, which seems to be at odds with wanting people to be fit and well. Market forces, though, I guess.
We were down at the George Eliot hospital in Nuneaton, today, and while their vending machines might have offered the same standard of fare as anywhere else, I was pleasantly surprised to see this market stall by the main entrance. What a fab idea.
