Christmas eve

Backblip.
A beautiful day so after a few chores indoors we went out for a walk at Newhall Point. The tide was coming in and the water was a wonderful shade of blue under the Winter Sunshine. We walked as far as the boat graveyard. A few more boats were moored there. Dunnocks were chatting as we walked and several diving ducks disappeared under the water when ever we were near enough to id them.
Back to Jemmimaville to wash the car which was covered in salt again and then home to get dinner. We were tempted to have Fish and chips but the shop was shut.
In the evening we went to the outdoor Carol Service in the Cathedral ruins. We stood on the outside as it gets quite crowded on the inside and there’s just a tiny gate to get out.Never seen it quite so busy , lots of excited Children eagerly waited for Santa’s appearance before he headed off for his main job ;) So after singing Jingle bells as loudly as they could Santa appeared with a sack full of gifts.
A beautiful night under a starry sky and full moon ,-1 with a heavy frost already covering the grass.
Home to watch a film , my candle chimes lit and a snowball ready to drink.
Have a Happy Christmas everyone :)
