Christmas Eve

Not a very exciting day and it did not feel like Christmas Eve.Mike decided it was time to clear the office which meant everything ended up in the Hall or kitchen so I stayed in the lounge and watched My Fair Lady and what a long film that is !
Luckily everything from the office is now up stairs and there’s a lot more room in the now downstairs bedroom / cinema room .
Mike’s delighted with the Christmas cake he’s made, the first cake he has ever made. Just need to taste it tomorrow now.
We did not go down to the Cathedral this year but listened to a few carols from the decking. It poured with rain just after the service had finished so they were lucky.
My chimes have been on and I’ve had a snowball to drink so all set for Christmas Day.
