Yonge Street in Toronto finds room for cultural juxtaposition. Here, in the middle of its still-unskyscrapered downtown strip, the city's "largest love boutique" almost overwhelms the adjoining Toronto Islamic Centre. Their philosophies - pleasures of the flesh versus piety and faith - may be oceans apart, but the words they use are remarkably similar. The signs in the Islamic Centre's windows proclaim Obedience, Peace and Submission - words that Love Boutique's patrons will, I'm sure, wholeheartedly endorse . . .
