Lunch

Lauren and I arrived at the cottage about 10:30 to discover that although clad in swimsuits and robes the others still had not been able to sit in the hot tub being that it was too hot!!! Haha!
Seemingly last night it had felt luke warm so they had lite the fire but now even after the lid being off for an hour is was still too hot!
We gave it another half hour then got in regardless! With squeals of pain from being burned we very gradually lowered ourselves. Ahhhh! It was like a hot bath wher you very gingerly get in and so long as you don't move you can stand it!! Hahahha!
Sarah, Cathie and Lauren gave up well before Ashley and myself. We had even got to the point where we could sit with our shoulders submerged for a few minutes before having to gradually ease our way to perching on the side! Hahahha!
Had a lovely chat with Ashley.
Then we headed in for lunch. Tomato soup and cheese and crackers. Mmmmmm!
After lunch we ended up lighting the log burner in the lounge and we all snuggled down to a dozy afternoon. Sarah slept, Cathie, Lauren and Ashley read and I crocheted some socks.
The afternoon continued in a similar vein interspersed with chatter till Ashley managed to prize herself away and go home.
The afternoon was slow and comfortable then at 5pm Helen, Naimh, Marianne and Eve arrived. Immediately the atmospher was bustier and noisier.
Dinner was prepared and while it was cooking Helen, Naimh, Lauren and myself went back into the tub. It was still very hot but easier to stay in! We had a lovely time chatting. Then it was time for everyone to sit round the big table for dinner.
It was lovely.
The rest of the evening was spent in the lounge chatting then we gradually started heading to bed. :)
