Small Town Life!

It's a road trip day! We had a lazy day at home, resting, packing, cleaning, playing and headed out for Papa and Grandma's house right after lunch. We almost didn't make it, given Mia's illness problems, but she wasn't about to let us cancel a trip to Grandmas house and woke up ready to go this morning!

We had a gorgeous drive and I passed many many beautiful blips! However, it was rest time and although I didn't have any luck with naps on the way down, I was ever hopeful someone might fall asleep. And given that hope, I was not about to stop the car, even for the most beautiful blip!

We made it to Papa and Grandma's house with plenty of time to play with our favorite toys, ride tricycles outside, play the piano, eat treats and a yummy dinner, take a bath in the claw foot tub, read our favorite stories and be fast asleep by 7:15pm. What a wonderful day!

The kids never spend too much time on the piano, but this picture of them, sitting together is becoming more and more the norm. The older they get, the more they enjoy playing together and the less stressful daily living is. Praise the Lord!
