Starters

It's mrsfb's birthday today (for some reason I can't stop humming When I'm Sixty-Four). We summoned up enough energy to drive to Moreton-in-Marsh for lunch. Well it's a start. I reckon in a couple of weeks we will be back to our normal (grumpy) selves.

We had a mooch about Moreton and she bought herself a lovely Alphonse Mucha design vase which goes very well in our dining room where we reframed some prints last year. When we got home the poetry books she bought for herself had also arrived (in our safe place i.e. the garage). We're hoping for great things from one of them - Poems That Make Grown Women Cry. She hasn't cried for over 3 years now, since she was very ill in 2015. It's not working so far but I will keep you posted.
