A Frozen Hillside

Dear Diary,

Sort of a "fire and ice" thing.  Yesterday it was a flaming sky and today it is a frozen hill!  Such are the contrasts in a Maine winter landscape.  This is a hill next to my little supermarket in the town where I shop.  The low sunlight illuminated the ice and snow covered trees while dark clouds provided the perfect backdrop.

I'm so happy to have my little Canon back.  I carry it everywhere with me.  Without it I wouldn't have been able to capture this lovely snowy effect on the hill on my way to the store.  My Nikon is back in retirement!
