You can tell how little sun this tree gets normally but the swath of moss growing on it. I feel like that sometimes...

Salem and I had a nice walk at Carkeek Park today - the blue sky was a real boon and we may get one or 2 more days like today. There's a huge big leaf maple in this park that is leaning over precipitously and is only being held by it's roots - the base of the tree is basically a cave. I'm really surprised it hasn't toppled down the hill by now. There is a set of train tracks below it that it might land on if it does go.

Unfortunately I feel like I might be getting sick. ugh  I'm going to hope a good night's sleep does the trick.
