Grey Heron

This heron was hanging around the cowshed while we were milking this afternoon, but as soon as I got my camera, it flew away. I managed to get this shot, flying over our pond, and out into a paddock.

We have had more rain today - so far had 55 mls of rain in the past few days, exactly what we needed.
