Chilly Amaryllis

I haven't been out today other than to get more logs for the fire. The little sprinkling of snow melted in the bright sunshine, and refroze rapidly as the day cooled. 

The picture is an amaryllis that I got for Christmas, given a filter with the appropriate name of 'winter'.

The news of the day is - at last, the Baby has arrived! And it's a boy, as yet unnamed. All went smoothly and hopefully they'll be home tomorrow. I've only had a little glimpse of him but he is of course gorgeous.
