Hunderwasser

We drove to Suffolk to stay the night with friends in Debenham. Nigel and I were colleagues 15 years ago and the four of us remain friends, seeing each other every year.

It turned out that this lamp was designed by an Austrian artist Hunterwasser, and bought by Nigel when they lived in Germany. Strangely, we visited toilets in Kawakawa, New Zealand which had been designed by him, after he moved the .re to live. They are a bit reminiscent of Gaudi, being maiolica and bits of tiles in bright colours.
