So many to choose from
As expected it was not as nice weatherwise as yesterday and I was disappointed to see the clouds rolling in but we decided to go out for breakfast anyway. Most places were closed until Feb and those that would be open did not open till lunchtime. We ended up in Strathpeffer and had a great breakfast in the Railway Station cafe.It has been taken over by new owners and ,luckily, just as good as before.
We then went to Loch Kinellan, a few spots of rain and quite a few people around and with the water frozen not many birds visible. The sun peeped through at the right time to give me my blip.
We drove back across the Heights of Brae ,lots of farmers busy in the fields. Looking at the photos later there were even deer behind an old ruin.
Shopping in Tescos followed so now ready to make Oat cakes with the Brownies on Tuesday.
Also bought some bargain crackers, the ones you pull, for 40p !!
I went for a walk at Ferry Point and again lovely light shone through. A whole flock of knot swopped down and landed in front of me and immediately started poking in the mud.
