A lunchtime treat
Back blip 22nd Jan
After sorting out some banking business etc we decided we deserved a treat so went to a newly refurbished local pub for lunch. The food was delicious and the view of Castle Hill from the car park rather spectacular. The distant hills were covered in snow and it began to snow as we were eating. A bit of panic ensued as I had the Pennines to negotiate later in the evening but it soon stopped and we managed to enjoy the remainder of our lunch.
The extra is a cockerel which was in a pen next to the car park. He had his beady eye on me as I took the main picture.
