Winter flowers - and a profligate earring

Even on a grey and very windy January day there are flowers - snowdrops, hellibore and cyclamen (in the winter garden at Bents, a flying visit this afternoon).

And in the extra - a missing earring has been discovered. Yesterday was the first day I have had an opportunity to search the car in daylight since it went missing, and I found the missing earring (a Christmas present from me to J) hiding in a narrow crack to the side of the front passenger seat. Phew !

So the maker, Caroline Finlay, does not need to make us another (which she had offered to do). J just has to be careful about wearing these - not on woolly scarf days.
