Back home

We arrived at Heathrow at 7.45am, nearly an hour earlier than scheduled. We got through immigration pretty quickly and our bag came through quickly too. When we got to the other side, there was no sign of the taxi driver so we had to wait a little while for him. We were all pretty knackered by the time we got home and I sent everyone to bed for an hour. Penny had to be at school by 11.30am and she looked so tired when I dropped her off. She had double maths.  Bibi had booked a train ticket to go back to Bristol at 1.40pm from Twickenham.  She had two very heavy, large bags and even though Ben had  said that he would drive them to her at the weekend, she insisted on taking them with her on the train. There were road works in Twickenham and she missed the train. The car park was also closed because of all the building works so I had to drop her off quite a distance from the station and she had to struggle with her heavy bags. When I got back home, Penny had returned from school and Non was ready to leave. I walked her to Fulwell station. She was meant to catch the 5.10pm from Euston but they all got kicked off the train at Milton Keynes so she arrived at Bangor nearly two hours later. Penny was really tired in the evening and went to bed at 8pm. I went up two hours later.
