Pinch....lunch

............1st of the month ;-)

We didnt win the quiz last night, could have, if we'd chosen a different option with 3 questions....;-)

To bed late, had a whisky hot toddy, for medicinal purposes of course, slept like a log, didnt get up until after 9!!!

Today we met up with an ex work colleague for lunch. We meet a couple of times a year, which is lovely and we always have so much to catch up on!! A lovely lunch, Salmon fishcake for me, cheese pie for our friend and hub had a turkey, brie & bacon sandwich, with coffee and a bit of cake (we shared!) afterwards, whilst sat looking out the window at this view, which I had to blip for today :-)

We are back home now, its 5pm...and its still light, woohoo!!! Its been a lovely bright, but very cold day.......hopefully more of the same tomorrow, before it turns milder, but wet :-(

Homemade vegetable soup for dinner this evening....a light snack after our earlier treat!
