Sneaky blip
I'd really like to take more people-y photographs but I'm a bit wary of snapping away at random strangers, mostly because I know I really wouldn't like it myself! And because it feels a bit invasive.
However I just really liked the look of this girl and her dog, and how adoringly he looks up at her. So I took a wee sneaky blip. I hope she wouldn't be too put out if she saw it. :o)
The rest is just personal stuff - I don't mind if you skip it its just for me anyway :o)
I'm having a bit of a down day today. I try and maintain a cheerful positive state of mind as much as I can, because I'm stuck with this illness and it doesn't do me any good to be constantly miserable about it. I'd rather be a cheery ill person than a depressed, frustrated, self pitying one! (Been there, done that, its no fun!) But over the last couple of weeks I seem to have come down with an addition virus type bug thing which is making me even more tired and in pain than usual, so feeling a wee bit fragile, emotional and just plain exhausted today.
I didn't want to give in to lying around the house all day so I took myself off to the cinema for a change of scene this afternoon and saw 'The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button'. I'd heard it was a bit dull but I quite liked it. Quite slow and terribly long though - I went in at 12.45 and came out at almost 4! Wept buckets towards the end, I couldn't look at anyone when I came out I was so red and blotchy!
Sometimes a good weepy is just what you need though, I came home and happily fell asleep for a few hours.
