Swathes of Snowdrops

Slept well......didnt wake until just before 8.30. As the forecast for this week is a bit iffy, other than today, we decided to take a trip to Lytham Hall to see the snowdrops.

I took quite a few shots, but liked this one best. The first shot I took, saw me land on my backside in the mud.....crouched down as you do, didnt realise I was on a slight incline, and subsequently toppled backwards, ended up doing an impression of an upside down tortoise, arms and legs flailing lol :-)))

We had coffee and lunch in their little cafe, which was quite nice, but after an hour or so, there was not a lot else to see or do. I have added a shot of the hall itself in extras.

We drove to the seafront and parked up so we could take a walk along the coastal path. The weather was so nice, lovely blue skies, not too cold either. A shot of the beach with some little grounded boats in extras too.

Since I got home, Ive made chicken noodle soup for a light dinner this evening before dashing off shortly to camera club.
