Snow-topped
I had to take my car in for an eye-wateringly expensive service, today, which included such timeless classics as "Do you want us to replace your brake disks or just carry on playing Russian roulette every time you touch the brake pedal?" (I'm paraphrasing.)
That said, it was (almost) worth the trip out to Lindale just to enjoy the scenery on this clear-skied day: the mountains and hills all looked beautiful. There were loads of wonderful views from the A590 but nowhere to pull over and capture them. In the end I was on Natland Road when I found a place to stop with a decent view (even if that did involve a bit of a tramp up a field).
