Day 31. Wedding season
Every morning, when we leave the house we think what adventures are we going to experiment during the day. Definitely our life in Nepal is not boring at all.
Today seems it is a good day to get married in Kathmandu, close to our Office we saw two different wedding bands playing on the street at 9:00 a.m. I took this photo at 5 p.m, the groom and the bride were inside the car (the bride's face was still covered) and all the guests and the band were in front of the car dancing on the street. I am not sure the flowers R loves N are telling the true, in Nepal arranged marriage are still the norm.
Hightlights:
1. We have survived! We took a bus back home. There was lots of traffic and the bus driver decided to undertake the traffic using the pedestrian space. Uff The bus was leaning more than 45 degrees. We were pale and decided to leave the bus after other nepalese did too. A very sensible decision. Then we walked in the darkness for about an hour to get the Bakery Cafe, a nice calm and clean place, where we had a big pizza to celebrate life.
2. We have discovered a little bakery close to office, they made some delicious banana cake.
3. We called Sally and heard that Sarita is much better. Aww aww Andy and I were dreaming about her several times in last few days.
Booo I saw a rat, I am sure it won't be the first . I don't like them. Also walking back home in the the darkness was not fun.
No me gustan.
