Local Hippo Protests Road Works.....Fake News?

And so she should... I am sure that this is probably a Girl Hippo 'Cos she looks soo attractive in that lovely morning light but The Boss says  that given The Bossess's pending arrival to our pad tonight that I would be advised to perhaps bite (ouch) my furry tongue about now.
Right?
 It was a great procedure to watch as the thingie on the right scraped the old seal off the road and into the truck on the left and then another bigger truck on the right came along and put nice new stuff down.
The Boss then decided that this was all a bit too exciting so walked to The Roxy theatre in Miramar 15,000 staggers and had an iced choc (and apple strudel cheesecake) to re-establish his blood sugar and then caught a bus back flashing his "free" card on the way.
This was, of course,  training as he has entered him and The Bossess (and ME) in the "Round The Bays" event next weekend following the fun  (and lemon crepes) he had last year when he couldn't be bothered waiting for a bus and walked back.
Extra...Well he says the whipped cream cancels the chocolate "cos they are from completely different cows.
Errr...Right?
