Tailored by Telford

I often look at these big stones, with that lovely curve, and think of Thomas Telford who designed the Caledonian Canal. These ones are so weathered, I assume that they are originals, some  200 years old. This amazing canal continues to fascinate me, which is why I've put I a couple of extras shots,  best seen full screen. First we have the swing bridge, then the sea lock, viewed from further along from the shore.
