Winter stems

Winter stems against the afternoon sunshine on the flooded river behind.

A day with a cold lazy wind that got through my muscles and made them ache.  Dog walking, allotment checking, sitting in front of the log burning stove and watching the rugby.  Merlin's first birthday today!
