Not Italy, but Ickworth!

A good day out, visiting Ickworth, a National Trust property near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. This is a view from the perimeter path of the Italianate Garden, looking towards the house. To the right is the amazing stumpery, the biggest I've ever seen. The Temple Garden is further to the right, with palms and olive trees as well as a folly in the form of a small classical temple. Hard to believe it's February in East Anglia, not June in Italy!
