Thoughts elsewhere

A day of mixed emotions as we flew up to Glasgow and travelled on to Glen Coe. Our original plan was to stay with our friend Jean in Ayrshire but sadly her mum’s sudden passing meant her funeral was today. So our thoughts were elsewhere as we arrived to Glen Orchy waterfalls, Bridge of Orchy and then through Glen Coe this afternoon.

Neta was a grand old lady who was always a joy to be with, she held court in any company with a great sense of humour. She was a Nanna to many people but will be missed most by her family who were very close to her.
This blip is for her, a typical Highland scene with a deer for a grand wee lady.

I had to post this for a cafe as we have no phone or internet in the glen !
