White-faced heron ...

... fishing around Shag Rock.

I was delighted to find this beautiful bird fishing in amongst the rocks at the base of Shag Rock. I've never seen them there before.

It flew up on these rocks, after having caught a fish. I didn't get to see the catch as it was down behind the rocks. The wings are beautiful! I've put that flying image in Extras.
