A luxurious lie in, with no 8am visitors. And I had a good sleep, with only one coughing fit - that antihistamine pill must have helped.

While JR went off to the gym - though no fitness session (for her) at the weekends - I did a few jobs, including another kitchen floor mop and hanging the washing on the line. That was one thing we were worried about during the renovations - not having our pulley, but so far so good.

JR went off to return a switch, which took her all day, but included coffee and scone at her favourite shop. Archie went out with Elizabeth, and I got settled on the sofa with a big bag of crisps and coffee machine to hand for my favourite kind of afternoon - two rugby matches. A rather disappointing game for Scottish fans, and a great game in Cardiff.

Going to watch the much anticipated 'Roma' this evening.
