Last night the kids left a shoe each by the front door in the hope that Saint Nicholas and Zwarte Piet may leave some goodies in their shoes. Olivia was very excited this morning to see that her shoe contained a satsuma, speculoos biscuits and a large chocolate mould of St Nicholas (this didn't quite fit in the shoe!). Dex was somewhat bemused by the whole thing but enjoyed eating a chocolate Zwarte Piet's head for breakfast.

On her return home from school today I found a bag in Olivia's school bag containing a satsuma, speculoos biscuits and a large chocolate mould as apparently St Nicholas had visited her school today. He clearly shops at the same place as me!

Other news - we finally completed on the sale of our house in the UK today! Hurrah and such a bloody relief.
