The rain never stopped

When it started raining yesterday at lunch time it has just continued off and on all night and now it is almost lunch time again.    I walked out in the yard to see about water drops on the redbud tree.  The flowers are not quite open yet but I did capture this shot with the phone.  

I probably should have taken the real camera with the 24mm lens as the wind was blowing just a little.

How do those water drops hang on when the wind is blowing?
